BMW 525 was the worst car I've owned
So so disagree with almost every car you selected. No meh cars should be called car of decade.
The oldNissan Juke which should have been called the Nissan Puke should be the worst car on the list and is the worst car in the world. Bad and unreliable automatic transmission, Uneficient petrol engines,less boot space than a Volkswagen Golf, Ugly boring interior, Horrible exterior design and very poor visibility also bad rear legroom. Yeah sure a Fiat Multipla is ugly but that car is really practical and has character. The Juke is none of those. Luckily the brand new Juke is way better.
I agree on the 5-series 100%. I am the owner of a 2018 BMW 540i. I love it so much that I am ordering a 2021 540i. I've had several BMW's especially most 5-series models being the E34, E39, E60, F10, and G30. Out of all those generations, I believe the G30 is the best 5-series ever. Sure it doesn't have the steering feel of an E39. However, it does drive a lot like a modern E39. No other 5-series after the E39, that being the E60 and the F10, have come as close to replicating the refinement and balance of steering, ride, handling, solidness, and quietness that made the E39 so special, and the G30 certainly provides all of that and much more.

well a piece of advise being a used cars sale dealer after selling over 360 cars in 2 years only so far (learning curves): if you really want reliability go for Japanese cars especially 2 toppers Honda & Toyota and if you really wanna go for European Cars then go for brand new ones with manufacturer warranty otherwise get ready to drain your wallet with expensive bills. Mercedes is most reliable out of all European brands then Audi and VW Group. As a best practice do not buy a car more than 5 years old and if you have to then use 100% cover of warranty on top levels which should cover all electrical and all mechanical parts so you don't get surprise and disappointment that this is listed and that is not listed. If you buy a used car without service history then also your warranty got an open window to refuse your any claim. Over 90% warranty companies are fraud so you have to be careful what your plan covers. The real gainers of this industry are autotrader and warranty companies as they minting money and rest all are struggling to survive. Think carefully before you buy any car if its clicking all your boxes…All the best! Sincerely Super Bargain Cars Romford.

yeah, especially 1.2 and 1.4 TSI, the only engines in the world's history able to brake in the first 20.000 Km or so and brake again after being repaired ….Best cars for VAG, of course !

I honestly disagree with most of the cars on this list, even as an Audi owner, like come on, the Rapide??? Just look at it, i don't care if it's cramped and noisy, I've never seen a 4 door car that looks that amazing
The most significant car of the decade is the Tesla Model 3. That car will be remembered as one of the top 5 most revolutionary cars of all time, but your envy of it being American (They don't know how to make cars) clearly prevents you from putting it where it belongs. What an awful video.
The Nissan Quasqui is crap, I have one as a company runabout, It stalls all the time, no-one who drives it likes or trusts it. The diesel engine revs like a petrol and is refined and frugal. It also is gutless at low revs with no Torque, hence the stalling. Well equipped but interior quality is a real mix, with some shared parts with the dacia we also have to endure.
This is my first ever comment on social media but whatcar is supposed to be a serious/reputable organisation. Adding the AM Rapide as one of the worst cars of the decade is clearly a very (weak) and irresponsible attempt to be provocative. I have been lucky enough to have owned some very special cars and chose my Rapide over a Ferrari 599 after testing both extensively. Both cars are superlative on an emotional level, but also universally (and objectively) acknowledged to be superbly engineered, well built and wonderful to drive. Your rather ridiculous (and totally isolated in the journalistic world) attempt at being provocative seriously damages your credibility. To think that I used to consider whatcar as one of my go-to publications.

Bought my Qashqai second hand when it was 18 months old.
Under warranty it needed 2 replacement batteries, a full set of glow plugs and replacement air conditioner.
It is booked in with garage again for a software upgrade to the DAB radio (because it crashes the entire ICE 🙄)
Nevertheless it is still a good car. I’ve have 2 rear end shunts in the space of 12 months. I’ve been impressed how it coped with the impact both times.
It’s hardly an interesting or fun car to drive but it’s better then people give it credit for.
I had a Seat Ateca as a courtesy car recently… In perfect honesty, I much preferred the Qashqai.
I almost threw up when I saw the A3 with halogen headlights.
