The raptor to amarok comparison is shocking. The raptor is an off-road performance car, the amarok is an overpriced coffin. Sure it looks great but safety tech is nil to be seen and airbags are minimal. Not to mention used examples of the 580W can reach high $90k before on road.
I have got to subscribe 👍
Crazy how prices have gone. I would definitely add the 2nd gen Rav4. A wonderful little multipurpose wonder. Great video!
LOL jimny to rav4, stopped watching then
Adam I think you’re off the mark in suggesting the Civic over the i20 N. Hear me out, but I would go got a 2017 – 2019 Suzuki Swift Sport. It’s safe, only weighs 970kg, and has loads of torque in comparison to its weight so it flys like a rocket ship. The sport is built in Japan, so it’s well put together and reliable, and it has useful driver assists too. You can pick one up for about $20k.
One of your best!😀
At this point in sh!tsville aka Australia might as well get a donkey,
Why do none of your reviews feature Duster? Please review!! Mine has done 230000 kms in 4 years, no problems, cheap to run and buy. More than 180 000 of kms off-road.
Review the Lexus is200 pls
USed car market is such under rated. I've seen amazing cars sold for half the price. My eyes are on megane RS when it gets a little old.
Could you do a review of a used great wall ute like the v200 or the ute based suv x200? Seems like a lot of car for the money, but reviews online are mixed 🤔
All you sooks are getting a limited glance at what the 1930s was like to live through. Enjoy the lessons in patience, frugality, and REALITY!
If people like "agriculture"…. buy a tractor….😋
Can you do a review of 2013 to 2017 Q5
Toyotas are overrated and over priced.
VW Toureg will be a good substitute for Everest. Note the Amarok lacks safety like rear airbags so not z good substitute for Ranger.
I had that first-gen Rav4 in five-door form and took it _everywhere_. It was in a pretty sorry state by the time I was done with it, but I was very impressed with it for what it was.
I'd encourage buyers to be pretty circumspect before buying one now though. They've mostly got a lot of km on the clock and many have patchy service records at best. A good example would still be worth the money though.
Toyotas from the 1990s and the early 2000 are fetching good prices and some with really high kilometers l have seen a 2002 Toyota Corolla sell for aud $4600 with 980000kms and a 1997 Toyota Hilux sell for $500 aud that has done 980000 kms and those first generation RAV4s l had a ride in one once and it was a terrible ride worse than my 1997 Toyota Hilux maybe it has a short weel base on the other hand the Suzuki Jimny rides better than my Hilux
The rav 4 isn't 4wd its awd so not similar …
Screw the new car flippers, let them sit on their overpriced cars
Was hard to focus on the video when there is my favourite 135i in the background
Is that a 1m in the back?
We have a 2002 Pajero, Exceed. I love it. Over 300,000ks on the clock and still goes extremely well.
We were looking to upgrade our 2010 VE S2 Sportwagon but it was going to cost us $60k+ to get any meaningful upgrade. Just couldn't see the value in it. Kept the Holden and spent a few grand fixing the things that needed doing and it's going great. Picked up an NA MX5 with some of the savings. 👌👌
Surprised on the wait time for the rav 4. Imagine paying 75k for a speed camera car
pure shit video
I’m surprised you suggested the Amarok. VW have a bad reputation of throwing its customers under the bus.
I spot an e82 in the background, hopefully it’s there to be used in a review in the near future?
370z awesome car
Thanks again Adam – I don’t know where people get their funds to pay over 60k for a ute or any other vehicle for that matter – I’ve always owned good used vehicles with only one lemon amongst 18 cars over 45 years – in my view it’s not value for money to buy new and you can live in a house not a car though many are at the moment – philosophy lesson aside my experience has been that modern Japanese cars are better built and more reliable than any other country for example I’d choose a Mitsubishi Pajero over a bogan Ford any day. I bought my 2010 Diesel Hilux Auto (Thai built) for $18k just before Covid Feb 2020.
Any chance you could review subaru diesels? Pretty please
Great vid ! Thanks boys
seriously the easeast thing to say is that japanese cars last forever. and repeat this every minute
150k for a hatchback audi?!?!??!?!?+
what world welive in!!!!?? 10-20k for a used 25 yo toyota?!??!!
I feel like something to mention is P Plater restrictions on engines, and new cars been purchased by this demographic
370z blows the Subaru and Toyota out of the water
Outtakes, unnecessary. They were ok the first couple of vids.
Good vid otherwise.
I live in Dallas TX US. By watching this video, I’ve learned that a Ute is a pick up truck, a tray is a bed, VW makes trucks and Mitsubishi still exists.
Love the honda civic instead of the Hyundai
FD2 Civic type r is one of the best cars ever made imo
Pajero Pinn also a great alternative to the Jimny
The more time goes by, the more I'm tempted to get a ND Miata. I don't like convertibles but a targa top sounds pretty nice. Unfortunately, I have a kid now so that doesn't really work.
Great video, i like it considering as you have stated what near used are going for over msrp(its crazy). The one i have a little issue with is the Pajero, putting a push button start system on a Pajero is going to void the warranty and its going to look janky as it was never designed for it. Apart from that yeah, its a better bet over the everest
Good quality videos, informative and also targeting areas other than usual car stuff. More of this please and thank you. You are awesome
