It’s time for the entire car industry to change just like the taxi and food delivery industries
Ill just keep my 2020 Camry. This is nuts lol
What would be a good deal on a 2012-2014 Camry?
Video idea – Used EV market
Ive learned alot watching the YAA father ands son Zach. And Kevin Hunter The Home work Guy and the Amazing Elizabeth!
Why can’t they just make a vehicle that gets you from point A to B? These prices are ridiculous and majority of the features in newer vehicles are not needed to drive.
I need some help. I think im going to have a new job by next year and im gonna need a new car cuz im going to be doing a lot more driving. How long should I wait till I buy.
I'm in Canada & I have saved a few months of paychecks, but now that I'm actually looking I'm shocked at the prices… 555,000km on a 2004 Avalanche & the dude wants 5k for it! There's 1990's trucks that are rusted & beaten going for 10k PLUS! I'm thinking I might just get a Chevy Aveo if it can withstand the snow driving…. which I'm questioning big time.
I drive a 2010 Ford Focus I want to get a Camry but with these prices I am holding it together with duct tape.
Used VWs aren’t particularly reliable so why the hell are people buying them at a high mark up
10k dealer market up for RAV4 hybrid. Insane for a Toyota crossover
I want to trade in my 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 LTZ crew cab for a Toyota Tacoma TRD off road 4×4. Should I trade my truck in now because of how well the trade in value still is or should I wait. I have 62k miles on my truck and it’s in excellent condition. Also I haven’t done so because they are hard to come by. Bought before it even hits the lot. Any advice would be appreciated.
Some? If they are under 50K miles, they ALL list over new car price
I remember when mortgage payments used to be $700 in the late 90s…. Not that's a car payment…. Yeah prices are ridiculous these days. Thank you Scotty for giving us the truth and bringing this to light.🖤🖤
New LE Highlanders are 45k, but now you can find low mileage LE Highlanders for 37-38K.
This makes a 1 year old suv 7-8k less, a real good deal.
Don’t pay attention to him prices will stay the same for a couple months to years They have gone down like $500 for a $10000 vehicle
If you need a car don’t hold out get one it might be the opposite, instead of going down it will go up.
Bought my 2015 caddy ast in 2017, cpo, sticker price 17k (cnd) after tax and such 21k. My wife needed a new car last year, so we drove around looking for one. A dealer offered me 14k trade in for my ats… didn't sell. But it's wild.
I got a Honda Fit 2019 LX for a total of $32000 with a down payment, TAX, registration and plate.
Anyone who thinks carmakers will ever return to prepandemic levels of manufacturing is delusional. 3 to 12 month wait for a bew car is the norm forever.
1:07 far right is the best car ever made . Gen 3 4Runner 1996-2002
I think the used car market is bad because 5 million illegals that came across the border bought all the cheap used cars
Credit Unions are usually better for financing. You'll get better interest rates, especially if you have good credit. I just bought/ordered a 2023 Chevy Euv (no markup). Luckily Chevy made the 2023 model over 6,000 dollars cheaper than the 2022 model because they no longer qualify for tax credits. The fact that evs are getting so expensive because of the market I was glad chevy did the opposite. My interest rate is 4.70. Additionally, I sold my 2016 Hyundai Sonata and got well over what I paid for it in 2017. Seller's market for sure.
Scotty Kilmer taking these videos to the next level
Do not buy a car right now if you can. Prices will come down drastically in the next month or so.
Who's to blame here though, the dealers, or the idiots that pay the high prices? Something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
The kia dealership I have bought my last 2 cars from keeps sending me emails telling me they'd buy my 2019 Sportage. Out of curiosity, I asked how much they'd give me for it. They said $25k which is thousands of doallrs over KB since the vehicle now has over 110k miles. I can only imagine what they'd try to sell it at.
I have a very simple solution for this… stop voting democrat 🤣
Its a huge problem, driven by our own consumerism, that allowed manufacturers to continue raising prices. When a decent family minivan or a non luxury 3 row suv costs at least 50-60k!
I sell cars for a living and these tips are all great for buyers. Take notes. You can save a ton of money with tips from Scotty.
Yes prices are going down in America but overseas they have not seen inflation cool yet, it's still rising in Europe and that's why their cars continue to increase in price while ours go down
A year ago I bought a 2017 Volkswagen Passat with the technology package pre certified with low miles for 24k. The car was like new, great warranty. I loved that car, it was big improvement over my 2008 Passat! I drove it for a year, paid it off and traded it in for a 2022 Tesla model 3 when the gas prices went sky high. I actually miss the Volkswagen but I don’t miss the high gas prices! I was shocked that Tesla gave me 20k for my Volkswagen!
If you have a used car in good condition, you can sell it for more because the new ones aren't available at the dealerships.
The used car industry has parameters and criteria…. with all due respect, scotty you base your theories on assumptions and speculations…. they are cheaper because they are getting older the more we get closer to 2023…..thus, it is better to sell now….
It's definitely going down. I've been researching bmw and mb lease options for months now and they're gradually going down. my local bmw is giving $3k incentives off msrp actually, it's an amazing deal in comparison to other luxury car brands.
All I see is high prices everywhere there is no collapse
It is FREAKING nuts out there. Cars, homes, the prices are EXORBITANT. Record low interest rates have a lot to with this… it’s time for change
Recently Purchased 2019 Rav4 XLE with only 5,000 miles, basically a new old car, for $27,000 + 800 dealer fee.
My 2019 camry w 70k is worth what I paid new
The collapse is not here, gm and caravana reported record sales, again!
I bought my 2020 Rav4 at 32k….
Now its at 34k for a used one…
good im waiting for the truck that i wanted was for 34k now 44k.
Bought a brand new 2021 Ford EcoSport this July, $24k on lot got him down to $19,500. Though with taxes and fees shot up to $21k. Nobody wants an EcoSport but i had no credit at the time. They did slap me with a 72 month contract lmao
